  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Field Operation Support (Power System Expert)

Location: Office base at Sunway Pinnacle

Contract: 12 months (extendable based on performance)

Responsibilities

  • To manage power systems management at telecom sites, backup power system, maintain operation of rectifier systems of telecom equipment.
  • To ensure battery management with proper installation, maintenance. Monitor health rates of batteries and establish preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot rectifier systems that convert grid AC power to DC power for telecom equipment, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.
  • To produce analysis, reporting and documentation to management.
  • To train and mentor field operations staff

Requirements

  • At least Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Related certificates, experience and exposure in managed service or field operation and maintenance is very much considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in managing AC/DC power systems, backup power solutions, rectifier systems, and lithium-ion battery management in the telecom or related industries.
  • Expertise in power conversion systems, particularly in rectifiers and UPS systems for telecom sites.
  • Strong knowledge of energy storage systems, especially lithium-ion batteries, including charge/discharge cycles, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
  • Thorough understanding of local and international electrical codes, industry standards for telecom power systems (e.g., ETSI, IEEE), and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to remote or rural telecom sites for power system inspections, audits, and repairs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
