Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced lorry driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and drive lorries to transport goods to specified locations.

· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

· Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

· Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues.

· Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required.

· Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.

Qualifications

· Valid GDL (Goods Driving License) and a clean driving record.

· Previous experience as a lorry driver or in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.

· Ability to operate various types of lorries and equipment.

· Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

· Familiarity with GPS and route planning software.

· Experience in long-haul driving.

· Basic mechanical knowledge of lorries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
  • Yearly bonus

Education:

  • STM/STPM (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Commercial driving: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • GDL (Goods Driving License) (Preferred)
