Job Type: Contract 4 months (Extend when required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth integration and transition between project phases.
- Develop detailed construction plans, including work schedules, resource allocation, and manpower requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Ensure that all site operations comply with safety regulations, standards, and company policies, including conducting safety meetings and inspections.
- Ensure that construction activities meet quality standards and are executed according to contract documents, engineering best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify that construction work meets project specifications.
- Manage project budgets and control costs by monitoring expenditures, tracking changes, and negotiating with vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare budget forecasts, cost estimates, and financial reports, ensuring adherence to project financial goals.
- Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges in construction activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve technical and operational issues on-site, ensuring that any disruptions are managed effectively.
- Prepare contingency plans and adjust work schedules to adapt to changes and maintain project progress.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, updates, and presentations to clients and senior management.
- Coordinate with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with legal and environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction Management or any related field.
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale EPCC projects especially onshore installations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
