Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business reviews, analyze and identify business opportunities, potential risks and make appropriate recommendation to management.
  • Develop and execute plans for customers to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory & key accounts and develop strategies to pursue these opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing all aspects of customer relationship including regular communication, reporting, escalation and problem solving.
  • Ensure any concerns and/or complaints from customers are timely escalated to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on account performance, providing regular updates to senior management on account status, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations, developing a deep understanding of their needs and priorities in order to create comprehensive account plans that include strategic roadmaps to achieve multi-year growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all customers need are being met, thereby ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the logistics industry, including industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Create and deliver presentations to key decision-makers that effectively communicate the value proposition of our services and solutions.
  • Ability to understand unique customer supply chain requirements, prospecting for all potential opportunities and delivering compelling solutions, value and pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to ensure maximum profitability for the company.
  • To conduct regular and structured review sessions with assigned customers including: process for continuous improvement and innovation, review of customer strategy and priorities as well as operational excellence delivery.
  • Monitor our performance quality against set targets and ensure that immediate actions are taken in case of deviations (incl. timely / accurate reporting).
  • Prepare Monthly Business Review (MBR), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), or Annual Business Review (ABR) process.
  • Attend review meetings with branch management.
  • Prospect and target new, high potential accounts.
  • Ensure all opportunities are created and tracked through CRM.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Logistics Management, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the logistics / freight forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of all air, sea, land products and services.
  • Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer requirements, analysis and resolution of problems and complaints.
  • Local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers).
  • Strong account management and relationship management/building skills.
  • Possesses strong hunting drive and motivation.
  • Experienced in financial management (P&L, Balance Sheets, forecasting and budgets) with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well.
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills.
  • Possess decision-making capabilities and high attention to detail.
  • Able to handle pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work well with a diverse client base and various internal teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
