Job Scope :
- Safety Policy Development: Create, implement, and update safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards in logistics operations, such as warehousing, transportation, and loading/unloading activities.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety regulations, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and transportation safety guidelines.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare staff for potential emergencies, such as fires, spills, or natural disasters.
- Safety Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance audits. Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Equipment Safety: Monitor the safe use of equipment, vehicles, and machinery within logistics operations, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (operations, HR, etc.) to integrate safety practices into daily operations and promote a culture of safety.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to continuously improve safety practices within the organization.
Job Requirements :
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, logistics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, NEBOSH, or OSHA certification) are preferred.
Experience:
- Several years of experience in safety management, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing safety programs.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
