Logistic Specialist

Location :Sek 15 Shah Alam

Working days : 5 days -Mon-Fri (8.30-5.30)

- Responsible for coordinating transportation, managing documentation, and optimizing logistics processes. He/she needs to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.

-With a keen eye for detail and effective communication skills, this role bridges internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to maintain a streamlined logistics operation.

- The Logistics Coordinator will navigate international shipping regulations, negotiate freight rates, and proactively address challenges to uphold the highest standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

· Liaise with local/Interco vendors, forwarder/transporter to update status in MFG Pro 5.8 (delivery status, PO price, country of origin, item details) and open PO backlog.

· Ensure the PO are properly captured, placed in the system and filing.

· Liaise with OM/CS/Service to handle local/Interco PO discrepancy/claim issue, material request/PO return for internal and external.

· Negotiate with local vendors to fulfil IRMY payment terms and all trucking & freight rates.

· Expedite on custom clearance for all inbound shipments.

· Update and monitor the transporter billings. Check permit details, calculation, HS Code, COO, post entry audit, etc.

· Work closely with Global Appointed Forwarding Agent

· Verify and monitor freight accrual.

· Verify transporter invoice, after the invoices approved by Operations Manager, submit to finance to process payment.

Basic Qualifications

· Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related fields.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
