Job Responsibilities
PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Purchasing assistant to provide administrative support to the purchasing department. Assist with the procurement process by handling paperwork, maintaining records, and ensuring that purchase orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Purchase Orders:
- Generate and manage purchase orders.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of order details.
- Track and manage order status and delivery timelines.
- Updating ERP system for goods received
- Update accounts payable with complete records/documentation.
Communication:
- Collaborate with various departments, such as production, finance, and logistics, to understand their procurement needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address issues, resolve order discrepancies & conflicts, and ensure smooth transactions.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
- Monitoring inventory levels.
- Preparing reports, tracking orders, ensuring timely deliveries, and reviewing the quality of purchased products.
Vendor Management:
- Keeping track of supplier contact information
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
