  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our unit Maritime Transportation and Visibility supports BASF's shared service organization and operating divisions as enabler for efficient transportation management operations. The solution space includes solutions for liner shipment, chemical tankers, air transportation and shipment tracking & tracing. The product team’s responsibilities include to consult, design, deliver and run state of the art digital solutions in SAP-based as well as cloud-based technical environments.


In your new role, you will join a dedicated team of experts focusing on the growing cloud-based part of the Transportation Management solution space. You will collaborate for innovation projects, functional enhancements, and the uninterrupted operations of the same.


Main Tasks


  • Requirements analysis and evaluation
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and analyze business needs
    • Translate requirements to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Solution design and development
    • Design digital solutions that meet the needs of the business by using modern design principles and methodologies
    • Drive implementation of high-quality solutions by configuration and enhancement of BASF digital ecosystem in close collaboration with a skilled team of experts
    • Apply quality assurance measures, present & explain work results and support validation process
  • Turn-into-Production and Support
    • Manage deployment of solution to production environment
    • Provide support for business stakeholders during cutover and hypercare
  • Project collaboration
    • Support planning and implementation of digitalization projects with functional SAP TM expertise
    • Live and support agile methodology (process & meetings & tools)
  • Continuous improvement
    • Identify optimization potentials in existing solutions
    • Conducting research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities


Requirements


Education

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant Business/IT studies

Working Experience

  • At least 5-8 years’ related working experience


Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

  • High level of functional expertise and experience in SAP TM (LE-TRA, TM 9.X or S/4 TM)
  • Good proficiency in English


Technical & Professional Knowledge (Additional)

  • Knowledge in unit and integration testing
  • Experience working in agile with a DevOps mindset (ideally SCRUM experience)
  • Agile collaboration tool experience (Azure, Confluence)
  • Learning ability: Growth mindset, adaptability, flexibility, interest
  • Self-organization: Sense of responsibility, creative drive, decision-making
