SUMMARY
We are seeking a Payroll Executive with experience in the education industry and proficiency in using the HR2000 system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our educational institution. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, compliance with regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees in the education sector.
- Calculate salaries, bonuses, overtime, and deductions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including tax and labor laws.
HR2000 System Proficiency:
- Utilize the HR2000 system effectively to input and maintain employee data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
- Stay updated on system upgrades and improvements.
Data Accuracy and Maintenance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HR2000 system.
- Verify employee time records and attendance.
- Prepare and validate payroll reports for management.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state payroll regulations.
- Prepare and file payroll-related tax documents and reports.
- Generate payroll reports for management and finance teams.
Communication:
- Provide support and assistance to employees with payroll inquiries.
- Communicate payroll changes and updates to relevant departments.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain organized and confidential payroll records.
Prepare and retain payroll records for auditing purposes.
Problem Solving:
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors promptly.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Payroll Executive, with specific experience in the education industry.
- Proficiency in using the HR2000 system or similar HR/payroll software.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of tax calculations and deductions in the education sector is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
