In this role at CelcomDigi, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the day-to-day cash flow operations of the Group to ensure that the Group has enough funds to function and plays a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and supporting sustainable growth. This includes ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintaining proper cash levels, and overseeing the development of internal controls as well as advising on the most effective methods for controlling cash flow. Additionally, the Head of Cash Management will be responsible for developing and implementing cash management strategies, reviewing and analyzing financial performance, and preparing financial reports.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the cash management team and provide guidance and mentorship to support their professional development
- Management of treasury operations including daily cash flow and short-term money market placements
- Analyze financial data to develop strategies for improving cash flow. Allocate funds to ensure adequate liquidity
- Drive initiatives to optimise free cash flow (FCF) in order to meet FCF target
- Balance sheet (working capital) optimisation
- Daily, monthly, yearly cash flow forecasts as well as preparing financial reports for senior management
- Dividend proposals and drafting of Board memos for approval
- To be involved in special internal projects including research and evaluate investments and financing options.
Your Merits:)
- 8+ years experience in cash and working capital management with experience in leading a team.
- Excellent communication skills and knowledge of financial management principals. Ability to think strategically. Ability to work independently.
- Possess skills in Financial analysis, risk assessment, basic accounting principles and procedures, cashflow management, financial and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field. Certification: Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA) preferred but not required.
