Job Description:
Operations Management
- Manage daily operations of solar plants for optimal performance.
- Monitor system efficiency and resolve issues quickly.
- Improve processes to reduce downtime and boost output.
- Track key performance metrics to ensure plant productivity.
Maintenance Planning & Execution
- Create and follow preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Ensure proper upkeep of solar panels and related equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks with teams and suppliers.
- Manage inventory for timely repairs and replacements.
Team Leadership
- Lead and train O&M engineers and technicians.
- Ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Hold regular team meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Enforce strict safety protocols for all personnel.
- Regularly audit facilities to improve safety and ensure standards are met.
Performance Reporting & Analysis
- Generate reports on plant performance and maintenance activities.
- Use data to forecast energy production and plan upgrades.
- Report key findings to management and stakeholders.
Budget & Cost Control
- Manage O&M budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Work with the finance team on cost-saving strategies.
- Approve expenses for maintenance and repairs.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors.
- Ensure third-party work meets company standards and deadlines.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
Experience: 7-10 years in solar O&M, with 3 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with solar energy systems, inverters, and SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of Malaysian solar regulations and safety standards.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Malaysia.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
