Job Summary
Role responsibilities
- Seeking skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and support our SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) application
- Strong background in automation scripting, Linux system administration & loading data and creating dashboard on ELK observability platform
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our SWIFT AMH systems through proactive monitoring, incident management, and automation
- The SRE will respond to and resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
- The role also involves ensuring security compliance, collaborating with development teams, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to capacity planning and scaling.

Our Ideal Candidates should have:-
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with preference given to advanced degrees.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional scripting on UNIX/Linux Shell
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot microservices
- Good to have knowledge in ADO(Azure Devops).
- Advance knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL scripting
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipeline deployment automation via Ansible
- Strong version control skills using tools like Git, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality through reviews and automated tests.
- Exceptional communication and team-building skills, with the capacity to mentor engineers and align team efforts with strategic objectives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge on implementing observability using Elastic, Logstash, Kibana (ELK product stacks) and dashboard creation
Other Tools & Toolkit options –
- Proficient in Python, with solid expertise in core concepts like data structures, and complex algorithms for data analysis
- Knowledgeable in web technologies such as HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
- Familiar with SRE Tenets for maintaining reliable systems
