Job Overview:
As a Retail Operations Executive, you will oversee the daily operations of retail stores to ensure seamless business functionality and customer satisfaction. Your role includes managing inventory, coordinating with staff, analyzing sales reports, implementing policies, and driving store performance through operational excellence. You will work closely with store managers and other retail staff to optimize the customer experience and achieve sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across retail stores.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels and replenishment schedules.
- Oversee the visual merchandising to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries.
Sales and Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze sales reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist store managers in setting performance goals and action plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations for increasing store sales.
Customer Experience:
- Monitor customer service standards and ensure consistent, high-quality service.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
Staff Management:
- Coordinate and communicate with store managers on staffing needs and schedules.
- Support recruitment, training, and onboarding of new retail staff.
- Monitor staff performance and recommend development or improvement plans.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all stores comply with safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.
Promotions and Marketing:
- Assist in planning and executing store-level promotions and events.
- Liaise with the marketing team to ensure alignment of campaigns with store operations.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in retail operations or a similar role.
- Experience managing or coordinating with multiple retail outlets is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using retail software and MS Office.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer service orientation and focus on delivering results.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of retail trends and market conditions.
- Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising principles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
