Warehouse Checker

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Checker is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that products are accurately received, stored, and distributed. This role involves inspecting inventory for quality, counting items, and maintaining accurate records to support the warehouse’s efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Verification: Check incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices.
• Product Inspection: Examine goods for any damage or defects and report issues to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory records in warehouse management systems and ensure that items are correctly stored.
• Documentation: Record product information, including quantities and condition, and complete necessary paperwork or digital logs accurately.
• Quality Control: Work with warehouse staff to ensure that correct products and quantities are picked, packed, and shipped to meet customer requirements.
• Order Fulfillment: Assist in order picking, packing, and staging processes to support timely shipment and delivery.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members to manage warehouse workflows and ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience, preferably with inventory control responsibilities.
• Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in counting and checking inventory to prevent errors in shipments.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems and experience with data entry.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and work to resolve them efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting and reporting issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
