Service Engineer
Responsibilities
To participate & involve in new design testing equipment assembly, setup, instruments calibration, commissioning & troubleshooting.
To provide technical support on new & existing on-multiple-site equipment including system setup, maintenance, troubleshooting/ debugging.
To perform overall equipment productivity improvement including feasibility studies & relevant action plans on weekly basis.
To improve customer support plan as well as establishing good customer relationship to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
To update & maintain detailed documentation timely prior to service tasking execution based on defined process control plans & work instructions.
To coordinate & perform necessary program re-deployment & data collection after re-installation of reworked/ recalibrated equipment’s modules.
To develop & maintain service SOP in accordance to company quality policy.
To attend to customers’ feedback & meet customers’ requirement by liaising with relevant divisions e.g. resolving technical issues etc.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in Engineering related discipline, preferably in Electronic/ Electrical/ Microelectronic/ Mechatronic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Min. 3~5 years working experience in hands on equipment mechanical & electrical assembly & testing, industrial automation related field will be added advantages.
Knowledge in LabView/ PLC software programming will be also an added advantage.
Demonstrate strong ability to comprehend technical diagrams, control drawings & procedures.
Knowledge in techniques in system set-up, buy-off, principles, tools & instruments, schematic & control drawings, technical diagrams & models.
Highly responsible, customer-service oriented and detail-oriented.
A good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to travel to multiple customer sites in Johor and Singapore.
Possess knowledge to setup, support and troubleshoot automated back-end equipment, test handlers and testers.
Self-discipline, maintain good attendance and update service records.
Required to attend equipment training in HQ, Bayan Lepas Penang.
