  • Reports to Chef PIC and Supervisor.
  • Food Counter attendants (Service) and food preparers (kitchen) take customer orders, accept payment and serve at food counters.
  • They may also prepare, heat, and finish cooking simple food items. As a food counter attendant/food preparer, your duties can include:
  • Use a POS (Point Soft) to punch in staff orders, accept payment and give change (for cash).
  • Answer staff questions about menu items and serve them at counters.
  • Preparing food such as sandwiches etc. and beverages, including coffee-type drinks.
  • Stock refrigerators, cupboards, and counters.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage.
  • Assisting cleaners to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Reset and arrange tables before and after-meal period.
  • To be responsible for the daily smooth operation of the service section.
  • To ensure any upselling for today’s special or monthly promotions and must be practice at all the time
  • To ensure the standard and consistency of the food served by chefs.
  • To ensure cleanliness and hygienic practices in food handling.
  • To ensure refill beverages chiller and to support chef on replenishment for food/snacks
  • To clear and clean all tables after being used.
  • To maintain and to keep clean the food counters at all times.
  • To ensure that the areas where the goods are kept are clean at all times.
  • To cooperate and work in a team towards development implementation
  • To take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate.
  • Refill condiments and other supplies at areas.
  • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and storage areas.
  • Help to wash, peel and prepare basic food items.
  • Work with Kitchen and Cleaners: usually clear tables, clean kitchen areas and wash dishes and help to prepare or serve food and beverages.
  • Arrive to work at scheduled time, perform services to established standards and insure the client’s facility is locked and secured when you finish and leave.
  • Complete paperwork as requested.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
