Reporting to the Head of Content Studio, the Producer is a key player in transforming creative concepts into compelling content across various media platforms. This role requires a blend of creative vision, project management prowess, and strong communication skills to ensure the seamless execution of projects from ideation to delivery.
People:
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal creative teams to understand project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and expectations.
Creative Partnerships and Management:
- Collaborate with internal and external creative teams, suppliers, and talent to bring creative ideas to life.
- Coordinate with directors, casting agents, actors, and other stakeholders to source talent and oversee treatments, casting, and location scouting.
Product:
Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end production process for assigned projects, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project workflow and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Manage production budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and profitability targets.
- Ensure that all productions meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and client expectations, while maximizing efficiency and resource utilization.
- Address challenges and obstacles throughout the production process with creative problem-solving and decision-making.
Profit:
Budget and Administration:
- Manage production budgets and associated administration tasks in accordance with client and agency expectations.
- Partner with finance teams on purchase orders, billable costs, and resource investments required for projects.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and addressing client questions, concerns, or feedback.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding project scopes based on client needs and objectives.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential new projects or clients, participating in pitches, and collaborating with the business development team as needed.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Digital Production, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a production role, with a track record of successful project delivery. They may have started as Production Assistants, gaining experience in TV shows and independent film companies.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project requirements and industry trends.
- Proficiency in process management, presentation, logical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
