We're looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our team and help expand our footprint to Penang and North Malaysia.

As a Sales Engineer at The Coffee Xperts, you will bridge the technical and sales teams, providing expert knowledge and solutions to our clients. You’ll work closely with potential customers to understand their specific needs and demonstrate how our products and services can meet those needs effectively. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, communication skills, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand client requirements and offer tailored coffee solutions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process, including equipment specifications, usage guidelines, and maintenance advice.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their technical and operational queries.
  • Work with product development to relay client feedback and drive continuous improvement.
  • Generate technical documentation, sales proposals, and quotations as needed.
  • Support the sales team in closing deals by identifying potential obstacles and providing practical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a sales engineer or technical sales role, preferably in food and beverage or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of coffee brewing equipment and/or commercial coffee solutions is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
