Machinist

-CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly -Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production -Proactively identify problem areas and organize support for manufacturing with root cause analysis and process improvement that supports a lean environment -Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance -Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges -Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations -Provide reports as necessary to appropriate staff -Observe and learn Ascentec's procedures and documentation -Maintains good housekeeping practices -Performs other related duties as assigned by management -Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time -Experience working in the contract manufacturing industry is a plus -Education: Diploma in Engineering is preferred -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards applicable to engineering projects.
