Full Stack Developer

Job Purpose

The Full Stack Developer (E-Commerce) will be responsible to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications that enhance the user experience and operational efficiency of our e-commerce platforms. This role focuses on creating seamless interactions for customers and robust backend functionalities that support our business objectives.

Principle Accountabilities

Architect & Develop:

• Lead the architecture, design, development and maintenance of robust web-based

applications.

Frontend Development:

• Design and implement user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces using PHP,

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular) tailored for e commerce applications.

Backend Development:

• Develop and maintain server-side functionalities using PHP, ensuring efficient

handling of user transactions, inventory management, and data security.

Refactoring

• Evaluate existing codebases to identify technical debt, design flaws, and areas for

improvement

• Apply refactoring techniques to enhance code structure, readability, and performance

while ensuring that existing functionality remains intact.

Requirement Translation:

• Actively participate in product meetings to translate user requirements into

comprehensive system requirements.

E-commerce Features:

• Implement features such as shopping carts, payment gateways, user authentication,

and product management systems to enhance customer experience.

Code Quality:

• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best

practices and coding standards. Conduct regular code reviews to uphold these

standards.

Testing & Debugging:

• Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance,

security, and stability of applications.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to gather requirements and translate

them into effective technical solutions.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor application performance and optimize for speed, scalability, and security,

particularly during peak traffic periods.

Documentation:

• Maintain clear documentation of code, application architecture, and user guides for

future reference and onboarding.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or

equivalent experience).

• Minimum 3 years in web development, specifically within an e-commerce platform

environment.

• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; TypeScript experience is a plus.

• Strong experience with frontend frameworks/libraries (React, Vue.js, Angular) in the

context of e-commerce.

• Solid understanding of PHP and backend development principles, especially for

handling transactions and data integrity.

• Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Materialize.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• A passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in e-commerce development.

*This is a full-time hybrid role based in TRX.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
