- Negotiate contracts and secure competitive pricing for high-cost items.
- Monitor vendor performance to assess quality, service, and pricing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in coordination with internal departments.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and manage stock levels in the storeroom.
- Conduct monthly stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Maintain control over stock handling and issuance.
- Identify and implement improvements in procurement processes.
- Explore new products to enhance business operations and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee supplier performance to ensure consistent product quality.
- Manage contracts for high-demand items and maintain vendor relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on daily orders and stock needs.
- Address stock discrepancies and undertake additional tasks as required.
- Minimum Certificate in Procurement Management, Diploma in Accountancy, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing.
- Experience in a 4- or 5-star hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of vendor sourcing and supply chain procedures.
