- To be responsible for the site supervision in relation to all civil and infrastructural works on projects.
- To ensure that all work is in sync with project goals and objectives and is within the agreed budget.
- To provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- To monitor and manage the project processes and ensure that any elements which fail in the workflow are remedied.
- Prepares plans and specifications for new equipment or modification of existing equipment to effect increased operational capacity or efficiency.
- To liaise with architects, engineers, and other specialists working on a project.
- To track progress against milestones, deadlines and budget. To Report on these items to key stakeholders.
- Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in earthwork/roadwork or infrastructure projects
- Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
- Well-verse on contractual matters.
- Must be able to read and interpret plans/drawings.
