Overview:
We’re seeking an organized, proactive, and enthusiastic HR Assistant Intern to join our HR team. This role will provide hands-on experience in a range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative support. Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates in HR, business, or related fields.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on internal and external job boards.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview details and feedback.
- Help maintain candidate records and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Onboarding Assistance:
- Assist in preparing onboarding materials for new hires.
- Facilitate new employee orientations and help them feel welcomed.
- Support in coordinating the setup of equipment, access, and documentation for new hires.
- Gather and file essential employee documents in compliance with HR policies.
HR Administration:
- Update and maintain employee records and databases.
- Organize and track HR documents, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Prepare and process paperwork, including contracts, HR letters, and payroll documentation.
- Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives and events.
Employee Engagement & Development:
- Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities.
- Help manage employee feedback, surveys, and initiatives for improvement.
- Support in organizing training sessions and maintaining training materials.
HR Compliance:
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with company policies and regulations.
- Support in compiling data for HR reports, audits, and compliance checks.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Previous internship or experience in HR (preferred but not required).
