Overview:

We’re seeking an organized, proactive, and enthusiastic HR Assistant Intern to join our HR team. This role will provide hands-on experience in a range of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative support. Ideal candidates are students or recent graduates in HR, business, or related fields.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in posting job openings on internal and external job boards.
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview details and feedback.
  • Help maintain candidate records and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Onboarding Assistance:

  • Assist in preparing onboarding materials for new hires.
  • Facilitate new employee orientations and help them feel welcomed.
  • Support in coordinating the setup of equipment, access, and documentation for new hires.
  • Gather and file essential employee documents in compliance with HR policies.

HR Administration:

  • Update and maintain employee records and databases.
  • Organize and track HR documents, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Prepare and process paperwork, including contracts, HR letters, and payroll documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives and events.

Employee Engagement & Development:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement activities.
  • Help manage employee feedback, surveys, and initiatives for improvement.
  • Support in organizing training sessions and maintaining training materials.

HR Compliance:

  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with company policies and regulations.
  • Support in compiling data for HR reports, audits, and compliance checks.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Previous internship or experience in HR (preferred but not required).
