The Hotel Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day hotel operations & administrative support, administering office stock, organising company records, and more to ensure all administrative activities run smoothly on a daily and long-term basis.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reporting directly to the General Manager
  • Assisting in following up daily appointments, meetings, datelines, etc.
  • Manages and places orders for all printed forms (e.g., luggage tags, location cards, etc.) for hotel operations.
  • Assists in liaising with vendors on office maintenance and repairs for lighting, telephony, IT services, furniture and fittings, office equipment, etc.
  • Updates The Management of important notices such as periodic fire evacuation drills, temporary electricity shutdown periods, etc.
  • Distributes and dispatches correspondence (letters, memos, etc.).
  • Assists in events bookings, correspondences, meeting appointments, etc.
  • Assist in manning the reception counter & gift shop when needed.
  • Any other ad hoc duties required by the owners, HODs, and administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2–3 years of experience in an administrative capacity in the management office of a hotel is preferred.
  • Nitec in office skills, a diploma in business administration, and/or other equivalent professional qualifications.
  • A highly resourceful, proactive, yet calm, and organised professional with good written and verbal communication and time management skills.
  • Having the highest ethical standards.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive to high performance, while absorbing a culture of positive engagement and care at the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
