Art Center Responsibilities:
1. 2. Daily Operations: Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the art
centre, ensuring smooth functioning of sessions, workshops and events..
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to customers and
students, addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and
promptly.
3. Event Coordination: Assist in planning, organising, and coordinating sessions
and other events held at the centre.
4. Facilities Management: Ensure that the art centre facilities are well-
maintained, including studios, equipment, and common areas.
5. Staff Supervision: Supervise art instructors, assistants, and other support staff,
ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
6. Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing and implementing marketing
strategies to promote art sessions and events, both online and offline.
7. Budget Management: Help in managing the budget for the art centre,
including monitoring expenses and ensuring expenditures are within
budgetary limits.
8. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of art supplies, materials, and
merchandise sold at the centre.
Food & Beverage (F&B) Responsibilities:
1. Restaurant Operations: Assist in managing the daily operations of the F&B
within the art centre, including cafe or dining areas.
2. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and
service, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Staff Training: Train and supervise F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and
kitchen staff, to deliver excellent customer service and maintain operational
efficiency.
4. Inventory and Cost Control: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and
control costs to optimise profitability without compromising quality.
5. Customer Experience: Ensure a positive dining experience for visitors,
providing attentive service, resolving complaints, and soliciting feedback.
6. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety and
hygiene regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing
corrective actions as needed.
7. Event Catering: Coordinate and oversee catering services for events held at
the art centre, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.
8. Financial Management: Assist in managing F&B budgets and tracking
expenses for review by senior management.
General Responsibilities:
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other assistants and managers to
coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations across the art centre.
- Promotion of the Art Centre: Act as an ambassador for the art centre and F&B
outlet, promoting their offerings and enhancing their reputation within the
community.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, attend
workshops or conferences, and continuously improve skills related to both art Centre management and F&B operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
