Staff Engineer

Job descriptions In your new role you will: - To implement the physical layout of circuit based on schematics provided by circuit design engineers. Check the correctness of layout using DRC/LVS tools. - To work with circuit design engineers in the evaluation of various circuit options and their impact on layout, and determine the optimum approach. - To perform top level routing and connection of input output signals. Giving extra care to signals identified as sensitive to minimize possible coupling and parasitic. - To perform top level bussing to satisfy current density and minimize IR drop throughout the chip. - To develop standard physical cell library for new process technology. - To plan, schedule and coordinate sub-cell layout. To co-lead the layout design project. - Creates and supports innovative ideas in his/her field of knowledge collaboratively. Involve in copy smart/layout productivity& quality enhancement project. Involve in scripting for layout improvement ideas. Has measurable impact on working results on a local basis. - Contributes to success of project/team. Shares knowledge within project/team. Has proven ability to solve problems. - To liaise with CAD tool vendors to solve problem/issue encounter with layout tools.
