The Accounts Executive (Treasury) is responsible for managing financial transactions, cash flow, and related processes to ensure the organization's financial operations run smoothly. This role involves handling petty cash, processing payments, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Activities/Accountabilities:
- Petty Cash Management : Handle petty cash reimbursements and ad hoc cash payments as required.
- Payment Processing : Manage payment for prepaid customers and vendors to ensure timely accurate transactions and oversee payment related to hire purchase, rental agreements, facilities, and statutory including IRB tax payment
- Payment Voucher Entry: Accurately perform payment voucher entries into the financial system for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Budget Analysis: Conduct monthly analysis of actual expenditures against the approved budget, identifying variances and reporting findings.
- Cash Flow Monitoring: Monitor cash flow, tracking cash inflows and outflows to maintain optimal liquidity.
- Online Banking Submission: Submit payments through the online banking channel, ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Claim Processing: Process claims from customers for lost and damaged goods, ensuring adherence to company policies and efficient resolution.
Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills :
- Diploma/ Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in the Treasury/ Accounting/ Finance Department.
- High integrity result-oriented, process-driven, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work as a team member.
- Good interpersonal, communication, presentation skills.
- Good teamwork skills within a multicultural work discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
