Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Moulding Technician to join our manufacturing team. The Moulding Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining moulding machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to ensure smooth production flow.
Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare moulding machines for production runs according to job specifications.
Install and align moulds, adjust machine settings, and perform test runs to ensure proper operation.
Monitor machine performance, inspect parts for quality defects, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure equipment reliability.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Document production activities, including machine settings, process parameters, and quality inspection results.
Train and mentor junior technicians or operators on machine operation, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.
To perform set-up and to perform simple trouble shooting on problematic products processes.
To be responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
To constantly observe cGMP and GDP practices.
To perform task/job as per assigned by superior.
To assist department in achieving departmental KPI.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in plastics processing is preferred with 1 year experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of moulding machine operation and maintenance.
Knowledge of injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to work in rotating shift
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM5,493.11 per month
