JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and implement material planning strategies to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Collaborate with production teams to forecast material requirements based on production schedules.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Analyse demand patterns and production data to forecast future material needs.
  • Maintain records of material transactions and inventory levels.
  • Reports on material usage, inventory levels and supplier performance.
  • Compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Monitor work in progress (WIP) limits and ensure adherence to Kanban rules.
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks and obstacles in the workflow.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Kanban effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to management based on data analysis and observations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in engineering or technically related field, engineering process management, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in a manufacturing/production environment with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledgeable in Kanban Systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
