JOB PURPOSE:
- Responsible for daily management accounting functions as well as project financial evaluation to ensure effective project accounting and cost control for assigned projects while ensuring adherence to Group policies and prevailing statutory requirements.
Project Cost Accounting and Control
- Monitor and review all project-related costs to ensure effective project cost accounting and cost control for assigned projects.
Project Financial Evaluation (Project Economics)
- Calculate the evaluation of potential projects to support the submission of commercial bids and market survey requirement.
- Update and report on performance of ongoing project/asset in operation with regards to the project returns.
Cash Flow
- Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecast for the assigned projects for Group Treasury’s cash flow planning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 7 - 10 years of working experience in finance/ accounting/ corporate planning/ equity research with at least 5 years specific experience in budget preparation/ financial forecasting/ financial modeling/ preparation of management reports and accounts for senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance or equivalent.
- Professional qualification or relevant post graduate degree would be an added advantage (e.g CIMA, or MBA).
