Seeking a skilled and experienced Cook at a supervisory level who will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for outlets and banquet events, ensuring that the food is of high quality, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. He or she must also have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques, excellent communication and teamwork skills, knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, and the ability to work and stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include: 1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes (including appetizers, entrees, and desserts) for outlets and banquet events 2. Ensure that all food is of high quality and meets hotel standards 3. Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency 4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen 5. Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to superiors or management 6. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies 7. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served promptly 8. Adhere to all food safety, Halal, wastage and sanitation guidelines 9. Assist the Chef, and F&B servers as and when necessary and required e.g. in light food preparation 10. Comply with all company policies and procedures and safety rules 11. Be professional and ensure personal grooming and appearance and good personal hygiene 12. All other tasks and responsibilities as required and directed by superiors or the management, when schedule and workload permit
