Job Title: Quality Assurance(QA) Engineer

Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Responsible for Pre-assembly and Front Of Line(FOL) assembly QA function.
  • Lead & manage the assembly MRB for NCL lots disposition & risk assessment. Ensure minimum impact for delivery & no quality risk to customer.
  • Lead the 8D problem solving for Assembly detection CAR, internal excursion to improve Assembly quality.
  • Manage and support Customer Incident(CI), external excursion that related to pre-assembly and FOL. Manage the quality issue with Division & FQS to ensure timely containment actions taken & address the technical & systemic root cause with effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Improve the Assembly quality system to ensure no defect escape to customer.
  • Participate in the NPI development phase to ensure the new product release meeting the manufacturing quality deliverables.
  • Conduct quality system audit to ensure effectiveness of the quality system. Manage customer visit and audit to pre-assembly and FOL area.
  • Manage the change management process for pre-assembly and FOL to ensure proper risk assessment done for any changes & also ensure comply to change management requirements.
  • Participate in the operation quality program such as line Daily briefing, Workcell & Quality campaign to promote Zero Defects mindset.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Material Science/Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronic or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience working as QA in Assembly.
  • Experience & familiar with Wafer Saw, Die Attach and Wire Bond methodology will be further advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and good engagement skills with shopfloor.
  • Strong leadership to lead the quality program

Good knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 3x5Why, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, Control Plan & Statistic. Qualified quality system (ISO, IATF or VDA) auditor to support internal & external audit program.
