Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director with a strong IT solutions background to join our reputable organization. The ideal candidate will have proven success in driving substantial sales, having achieved at least $7-10 million USD in sales over the past 12 months. Key Responsibilities:

  • C-suite Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Leverage your network with C-suite executives to create strategic relationships, drive business opportunities, and influence high-level decision-making.
  • Solution Defense & Presentations: Lead solution defense presentations, providing clarity on the value of the offerings, deal value drivers, and other solution tenets, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Offering and Demand Creation: Manage the identification, creation, and demand generation for IT solutions that address client needs and market trends.
  • Leadership Reporting & Pipeline Management: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the sales pipeline, forecasting, and deal progression to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Critical Solution Evaluation: Critically evaluate multiple IT solution architectures, patterns, and tools to determine the best fit for client needs.
  • Account Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute growth strategies for key accounts, while identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue and market share.
  • Customer IT Roadmap Alignment: Understand customer IT roadmaps and develop plans that support long-term strategic goals, incorporating innovative solutions to address future challenges.
  • Thought Leadership & Lead Generation: Drive thought leadership initiatives and actively generate new business opportunities through proactive lead generation strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers, identifying and creating new business opportunities.
  • Customer Retention & Contract Renewals: Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively, preserving relationships and driving contract renewals.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Keep a close eye on competitor offerings and strategies, adjusting your approach to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., pre-sales, senior management) to address customer needs and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Revenue & Operational Management: Ensure that operational parameters related to revenue, collections, and margins are met, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Sales Performance: Must have achieved at least $7-10 million USD in sales over the last 12 months, with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • IT Solutions Background: Strong technical knowledge of IT solutions, with experience in developing and selling complex IT services or products.
  • C-suite Network: Established network and relationships with C-suite executives across various industries, enabling effective business development and deal closures.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in one or more of the following industries: Banking & Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, or Retail.
  • Sales Leadership: Strong experience in senior sales leadership, with the ability to manage high-value accounts and lead strategic sales initiatives.
  • Strategic Account Management: Expertise in developing and executing growth strategies for key accounts, ensuring revenue maximization and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers, both internally and externally, to drive business forward.
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: Proven ability to evaluate and recommend IT solutions that align with client business objectives and address their most pressing needs.
