Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain daily support for network and infrastructure equipment, including analyzing requirements, resolving issues, installing hardware/software, and supporting the internal IT helpdesk. Oversee backup and restore processes, IT asset management, and user access rights.
- Provide day-to-day technical support, monitoring for network, infrastructure, servers, and end-user systems. Manage user access authorization, and handle configuration, administration, and health checks for IT network/infrastructure equipment such as PCs, mobile devices, servers, printers, SAN storage, email, firewalls, switches, routers, and backups. Proactively monitor end-of-day scheduled jobs, event logs, and alerts to detect and address potential disruptions.
- Ensure successful daily/weekly backups, timely application of security patches, and scheduled vulnerability scans. Perform and lead scheduled backup and restore simulations to verify reliability.
- Collaborate as a subject matter expert to advise on network/infrastructure design and implementation of IT security controls and risk mitigation. Responsible for recommending, implementing, and managing security controls across systems and networks, developing detailed security designs and system security architecture.
- Facilitate and coordinate internal and external audits, implementing remediation based on recommended actions and associated risks for SOX, Global Information Security Group, or other corporate requirements.
- Maintain and support documentation, reports, and Business Continuity Plans (BCP). Periodically review and update standard operating procedures, guidelines, policies, and controls to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of information security controls, recommending improvements as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- CCNA Certification is a plus
- At least 6 years of hands-on technical experience in supporting, implementing, and administering network/infrastructure equipment and tasks, including:
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving daily technical support requests for network, infrastructure, servers, storage, backups, and end-user systems
- Skilled in configuring and administering network/infrastructure equipment and security controls such as Wintel/Linux platforms, Exchange email, VMware, Layer 2/3 Firewalls, routing, switching, IDS/IPS, Proxy, WAF, VLAN, VPN technologies, antivirus software, backup solutions, SIEM, content filtering, vulnerability scans, encryption technologies, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, SSH, LDAP, IPSEC, etc.
- Experience in vendor sourcing, processing purchase orders, IT asset and user access rights management, as well as reporting and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, results-driven, self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills. Flexible, independent, and adaptable
- Must be available to provide after-hours support for urgent incidents as needed
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
