Responsibilities
- Responsible in resolving technical issues and providing support to stakeholders.
- Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Monitor and maintain database security and database software.
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
- Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
- Prepare Documentations and Report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
- Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
- Experience with Amazon AWS (RDS, EC2) a plus.
- Strong background in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SQL/T-SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell and Linux/Unix scripting, backup and recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and data extraction/loading utilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
