What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and develop the workshop and warehouse teams to consistently meet or exceed KPIs.
- Plan and structure work schedules for Technicians and Warehouse staff to optimize productivity.
- Provide guidance on quality standards, ensuring teams meet performance targets and deliver high-quality work.
- Drive efficiency by implementing standardized processes and continuous improvement strategies.
- Collaborate closely with asset owners and stakeholders across departments to manage stock levels and ensure equipment readiness.
- Oversee the preparation of equipment for delivery and collection, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Manage the housekeeping and overall organization of the warehouse, ensuring a clean and well-structured environment.
- Foster a safe and healthy workplace, upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.
- Monitor the condition of workshop tools, equipment, and facilities, ensuring regular maintenance and servicing.
- Address technical issues and escalations proactively, ensuring swift resolution.
- Prepare monthly reports to track workshop performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support and implement long-term strategies to optimize workshop and warehouse operations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to overall operational success.
What we look for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within MHE, heavy equipment, heavy machinery, or a similar industry.
- A results-driven, proactive individual with strong process management skills.
- Proven experience in leading structured workshop or production environments.
- Solid technical expertise combined with excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to handle complaints and resolve complex situations effectively.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- A team player with a flexible, collaborative approach to leadership
