Job Description

Provide first level support for SLB's global network infrastructure.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Remotely monitoring and reacting to infrastructure monitoring events utilizing the incident management tools.
  • Working with 4 Shify Leaders of the Enterprise Management Center (EMC).
  • Working with IT personnel of all levels within SLB.
  • Adhering to all standard of confidentiality and security.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents per documented procedures.
  • Updating Incident log for toubleshooting.
  • Prioritize incident and customer request.
  • Report adverse customer conditions to the EMC Shift Lead for evaluation or escalation.
  • Identify incorrect information on documents within the Network Operations Center (NOC) and assist on maintaining information integrity.
  • Follow business support strategy and direction.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or IT. Majoring in Networking is preferred.
  • Have strong communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to work closely with a team of dedicated individuals.
  • Analytically minded with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Computer and networking hardware knowledge required.
  • Basic IP network protocols knowledge required.
  • Certification on Cisco CCNA or Cloud is a plus.
