Job Description
Provide first level support for SLB's global network infrastructure.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Remotely monitoring and reacting to infrastructure monitoring events utilizing the incident management tools.
- Working with 4 Shify Leaders of the Enterprise Management Center (EMC).
- Working with IT personnel of all levels within SLB.
- Adhering to all standard of confidentiality and security.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents per documented procedures.
- Updating Incident log for toubleshooting.
- Prioritize incident and customer request.
- Report adverse customer conditions to the EMC Shift Lead for evaluation or escalation.
- Identify incorrect information on documents within the Network Operations Center (NOC) and assist on maintaining information integrity.
- Follow business support strategy and direction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science, or IT. Majoring in Networking is preferred.
- Have strong communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to work closely with a team of dedicated individuals.
- Analytically minded with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Computer and networking hardware knowledge required.
- Basic IP network protocols knowledge required.
- Certification on Cisco CCNA or Cloud is a plus.
