We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Lead to lead mass-volume hiring initiatives and develop strategic talent acquisition programs in the Malaysian market. Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for mass-volume hiring needs, ensuring retail locations are consistently staffed with skilled, reliable employees
  • Design and execute scalable recruiting processes to efficiently manage large hiring demands while maintaining high standards of candidate quality
  • Leverage data and insights to continually improve recruitment practices, ensuring a streamlined process that reduces time-to-hire and enhances candidate experience
  • Drive diversity and inclusion efforts within the hiring process, ensuring equitable opportunities and a diverse talent pool
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen our employer brand, positioning the company as an employer of choice in the retail sector
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, from initial contact to onboarding
  • Utilize recruitment metrics to monitor and report on recruitment effectiveness
  • Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements, optimizing recruitment resources and investments
  • Regularly report to leadership on recruitment outcomes, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years of talent acquisition experience, with a focus on mass-volume hiring and employer branding, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector
  • Proven success in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that support business growth
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian talent market, including labor trends and regulations
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment marketing tools
  • Fluent in English and Malay; additional language skills are a plus
