Business Analyst

Job Description • Conducts feasibility studies and requirement analyses of the system needs • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. • Leading reviews of current business processes and developing process optimization strategies. • Work closely with IT and Business Users to analyze and understand business requirements and translate functional specifications into technical specifications. • Develop a business case document with a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits. • Develop decision models using diagramming tool Visio • Evaluate the ability of an existing system to support proposed changes and identify systems deficiencies and performance gaps. • Accountable for validating the functional specifications and clarify the same to the development teams for creating technical specifications. • Engage business users to identify the data items in source system. • Provide any dependency on data attributes between source systems. • Identify any data conflicts and create lookup in case of transformation. • Provides / reviews detailed functional and technical specification documents required in each phase of the SDLC and complies with internal standards and guidelines • Supports users on change control and systems updates and User Acceptance Testing and integration testing in accordance with the implementation plan.
