Job Summary:

• We are looking for an enthusiastic AI/ML Engineer with 1+ year of experience to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be working on implementing machine learning models, designing AI algorithms, and supporting the deployment of AI-driven solutions that solve real-world business problems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable and efficient models and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models using Python and popular ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Keras.
• Analyze, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to create well-structured datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Implement machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics, classification, regression, and clustering tasks.
• Assist in the deployment and monitoring of AI models in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with data engineers to build efficient data pipelines for training and inference.
• Fine-tune models for optimal performance, troubleshoot issues related to accuracy, overfitting, or underfitting, and iterate on designs.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in AI and machine learning and suggest new techniques or algorithms for adoption in projects.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the infrastructure for running experiments and model training in a reproducible and efficient manner.
• Support the integration of AI models into production systems and monitor their performance.
• Write clear documentation on models, code, and processes to ensure transparency and ease of use by other teams.
• Participate in team meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and collaborate with stakeholders to understand the needs for AI-driven solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience working in machine learning or AI engineering, ideally in a professional or academic setting.
• Proficiency in Python for machine learning model development, with experience using libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of fundamental machine learning algorithms (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, k-NN, support vector machines, clustering algorithms).
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature extraction, and engineering techniques to clean and transform raw data into suitable formats for training models.
• Familiarity with working on cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud for model deployment.
• Basic understanding of SQL and experience working with databases to extract and manipulate data.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
