About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Product Manager to lead the category portfolio (Small Appliances and Kitchen & Water Heating Appliances), and performance for assigned category for APAC region;
- To achieve on going product leadership across all sub-category with target consumer and market understanding
- To deliver annual target and to build the clear path to deliver mid to long term growth target in term of market share, volume, turn over and margin
- To build high performing product management teams in the BUs
Responsibilities
- P&L owner for the product lines in the region
- Portfolio management for all BUs in the region to achieve competitive advantage with overall product category
- Value Chain analysis & Pricing Management
- Category performance analysis in order to identify the improvement areas and actions plan by monthly – quarterly basis
- Build the regional business case to deliver new product and new innovation in the markets
- Market analysis and consumer insights by category in the region to address the business opportunity and improve consumer experiences.
- HQ policy Implementation
- Product life-cycle management: Problems solving for BU and PD especially new product launching
- Product Index Analysis (SKU efficiency etc.) to delivery regional/country target
- Establish IoT capability in region
- Mid-long term product planning and strategy for growth plan
- Be the core team for commercial launch preparation for New Products and Key strategic models
- Product value positioning/Launch Strategy with PDs
- Post Launch analysis with BUs
- New Business/category opportunities/development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Required Skills
- 5+ years in product management, or related roles, with experience in a regional or international context
- Category value creation including separate measures for sales growth and market development and margin for profitable growth
- Products, industrial and channel knowledge capability
- Innovation management to respond to consumer, customers and market opportunities
- Analytical and data-driven skill, good at the number
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to lead effectively in managing complex processes and diverse teams
- Project management skill
- Can-do attitude
