Senior Finance Specialist (GL)

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve ad-hoc payment
• Conducting financial analysis and reporting
• Fostering the growth and development of team members.
• Provide coaching and support to the team.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Liaise closely with auditors, tax team, and relevant stakeholders on audit and filling matters.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with local GAAP.
• Stay updated on changes in local GAAP regulations and ensure the organisation's financial practices align with these standards.
• Review/prepare monthly schedules and account fluctuations analysis
• Support implementation of financial report based on IFRS or Local standards.
• Assist the manager with regular financial reporting, account closing and improvements of day-to-day work processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• At least 5 Years above experience in audit firm or other relevant experience.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Words, Excel and other software.
• Good understanding of internal controls and corporate governance.
• Motivated self-starter, resourceful and ability to work independently; keen to learn with the ability to collaborate with various departments.
• Resourceful in managing competing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Training in Big 4 auditing firms are preferred.
• Strong language skills, including English and Chinese are needed to work smoothly with stakeholders.
