As Wasco is embarking on digital transformation journey, along with technological modernization within the IT department, this role is responsible for leading the development of both the enterprise’s IT architecture and its cybersecurity framework. This role ensures that the organization’s technology infrastructure, platform and software applications are designed for interoperability, scalability and security, aligning with business objectives. The individual will lead efforts to innovate, integrate, and secure the enterprise's digital environment, working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure both technological efficiency and security resilience.

Requirements

  • Develop, implement and update the enterprise architecture design in alignment with business goals and security requirements.
  • Work closely with each of the pillar in the IT department to outline enterprise architecture that includes business, infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, data integration and application layers.
  • Lead the creation and execution of organization’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats while enabling business agility.
  • Ensure the cybersecurity is integrated into the architecture of all systems – infrastructure, platform and software applications, from design to deployment.
  • Oversee the design and management of scalable, efficient and secure IT layers across the organization.
  • Establish and enforce technology governance, policies and security standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure the organization meets regulatory compliance, such as GDPR, PDPA or industry-specific security mandates.
  • Lead risk management efforts, including the identification, assessment and mitigation of technology and security risks.
  • Monitor the enterprise’s cybersecurity posture, leveraging tools and systems to detect vulnerabilities and responding swiftly to incidents.
  • Oversee and drive security and architecture audits from internal audits, third-party parties, vendors and partners to maintain platform integrity and security.
  • Drive the development of enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
  • Chair the Architectural Committee Board for any major changes or new requests of enterprise applications and ERP.

Requirements

  • Possess strong leadership, strategic thinking skills and align with CIO and other senior leaders on digital initiatives and enterprise architecture.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, system integration and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Prefer to have deep knowledge of cloud architecture, data governance and regulatory compliance (e.g. ISO 27001).
  • Good to have certifications, such as TOGAF, Zachman, CISSP, CISM, CEH or similar.
  • More than 10 years of experience in IT / digital field, preferably with a strong mix of enterprise architecture and cybersecurity domain experience.
