Job Descriptions:
- Provide on-site software installation and technical support to customers, resolving complex issue related to automation software systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/wiring and software problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate technical solutions to customer in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide training and guidance to customer on issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up to date user/training and troubleshooting manuals
- Travel to customer sites (including international sites) to provide hands-on technical support.
- Dynamic work-shifts may be required on need basis.
Education Background:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering.
Experience Background:
- Experience in software testing and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and customer skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
- Strong software troubleshooting skill in Windows and Linux Environment.
- Experience in automation software support and maintenance is an advantage.
- Ability to develop software scripts and troubleshooting tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SECS/GEM and SEMI standards is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases, including MSSQL, MySQL, and Oracle, is an advantage.
