Job Description:

  • Supervise Data Entry Team: Lead, manage, and oversee a team of data entry clerks to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient data entry operations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain data accuracy and integrity by reviewing completed data entry tasks, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to company standards and guidelines.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in data entry processes, implement efficient workflows, and recommend automation tools or best practices to enhance productivity.
  • Training & Development: Train and mentor new data entry staff, provide ongoing support, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
  • Data Management: Ensure proper data handling, categorization, and storage in compliance with data security policies and legal requirements.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular reports on data entry performance, productivity, and accuracy, and present findings to management for review.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (IT, operations, etc.) to coordinate data management needs, troubleshoot issues, and streamline processes.
  • Problem Resolution: Address any data entry errors or discrepancies promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to company operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data entry or data management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with data management software and databases (e.g., Excel, Access, or specialized data entry software).
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and leadership skills, with experience training and mentoring teams.
  • Basic knowledge of data security and confidentiality practices is a plus.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin, essential for communication with Chinese institutions and for operating equipment featuring Mandarin interfaces.
