The greatest challenge in the position would be language and cultural differences across countries.
In this position, you are going to connect with people of different cultures and language, it requires a lot of communication being empathetic, to listen, analyze, and propose solution.
Thus, it takes a lot of proactivity, curiosity, empathy, accountability in this role. Instead of staring on the rock that is blocking you, we think of ways to move the rock, or go around it, we take accountability on the business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Principle partner relationship management.
- Achieve Company Operation Budget (Top & Bottom Line).
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
- Build effective partnership with in-country distributors team, OEM partners, and facilitate cross-function support team collaboration.
- Be an analyst, to study market trends, pricing and good sense with numbers and data to work out a feasible business plan with the client
- Be an accountable and responsible person in establishing new markets
- Be consistent in following through the customer’s journey for repeat orders and marketing activities
- Responsible for the overall performance of assigned country / region
- Responsibilities
- To identify new business opportunities and build sustainable business for the company
- Customers pricing negotiation to maximize company’s profit
- To ensure all the sales related expenses are within the agreed budget
- To analyze and prepare competitor’s activities and market competitive report to formulate adequate action plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the FMCG, Consumer products, is preferred
- Track record of successfully applying consultative selling strategic business skills to achieve or exceed revenue, profit and customer satisfaction targets.
- Successful general management experience is an advantage.
- Required language(s): Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Excellent communication skills, including multiple languages.
- The ability to interact successfully across cultures.
- Do not mind to work extra mileage and highly commitment and responsibility to work.
- Strategies to attract customers, production and processing knowledge and effective leadership talents which includes people development.
