Quantity Surveyor

About the role We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects. What you'll be doing Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents specifically for Civil, Structural, Architectural and Interior Design Fit Out Works Monitoring and controlling project budgets and expenditures Negotiating and administering contracts with subcontractors and suppliers Providing cost advice and support throughout the construction process Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing value engineering initiatives Preparing progress reports and financial statements for project stakeholders Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies What we're looking for Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost control techniques Proficient in using quantity surveying software and spreadsheet applications Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards preferred Willingness to travel or relocate as required What we offer We are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
