The Merchant Sales and Account Specialist will play a key role in driving growth for the company.

The executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding client bases, and executing sales strategies that align with each company’s goals. By building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with internal teams for business opportunities, the executive will contribute to the success and scalability of both organizations in their respective markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, expand client base, explore new markets and engage in various sales activities.
  • Build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders/parties to generate leads and revenue.
  • Execute the full sales process, from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Ensure smooth communication with all clients in order to maintain relationship and provide support.
  • Assist in onboarding, addressing queries, and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on commercial activities to HOD.
  • Maintain and update clientele list, highlighting key changes for management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 2 to 3 years as a Sales / Business Development Executive in e-commerce.
  • Excellent Proficiency in spoken and written Bahasa Melayu and English. Mandarin/ Other Chinese dialect speakers will have an added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office with advance skill in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to provide insights and data for decision making.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner, quick thinker and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment
