JOB DESCRIPTION: Account Manager (Hybrid - Hunting/Farming role)
If you are an experience strategic account manager with strong business development acumen and dedicated account management skills with experience selling technology transformation, solutions, and managed services model that demonstrably solve client business & operational issues then, we are looking for someone like you!
This is an outstanding opportunity for the right type of assertive individual, who has an existing business network and is also passionate about forging new relationships for growth. You will be successful in this role if you have a creative streak and enjoy engaging in dialogue with clients that generate a shared narrative to solve a problem. If you are positive, achievement-orientated, resilient, tenacious, and have the ability to think logically and be objective in your decision making then this role is for you.
Your sales territory will be predominantly Malaysia-based. Your focus will be to target large and medium-sized enterprise accounts that have a synergy with the wider Orange Business portfolio that includes Connectivity, Cloud, Cyber, IoT, Smart Solutions, and multi-domains enterprise managed services. You will be measured by successfully winning a business that acquires new clients for Orange and this role is on sales incentive plan.
Essential for this role is an ability to elevate the conversation away from commodity technology provision or point solutions to end-to-end solutions. You have a challenger mindset and be in a position to understand what business drivers within the target client environment can trigger and create a sales opportunity using insight lead selling. These differentiated opportunities you create and execute will be transformational-sized engagements and will contribute to the growth of Orange.
This role is based in Bangsar South, KL, and will suit a person who has a strong history in new business/business development/AM roles. Your success will be our success, and you will be supported in achieving our joint goals.

Desired Skills & Experience
· Sales experience with a track record of success selling technology solutions, generating pipeline, and closing opportunities.
· A passionate pipeline creator – prospecting and opening up new business opportunities is part of your daily process to overachieve your sales quota
· An existing network of enterprise client contacts in Malaysia
· Direct field experience in enterprise sales as an individual contributor
· A confident communicator, comfortable speaking, and ability to build relationships with managers, executives, and peers.
· The role will suit a positive and energetic individual, a team player, self-motivated, results-driven, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Will hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and be fluent in spoken and written English (business level).
