Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Vision & Team Leadership: Define the creative team vision and lead the team with clear responsibility
  • Expertise in Graphic Design & Brand Guidelines: Create high-quality graphic designs, including posters, banners, and UI/UX elements, and develop comprehensive brand guidelines (e.g., SI brand book) to ensure consistent brand identity across all visual materials.
  • Hands-On Video Creation & Editing: Able to create and edit videos independently, with skills at or above 50% proficiency, to support content needs without relying solely on external resources.
  • Identify Business Opportunities: Recognize and pursue potential revenue streams, such as offering video production services to clients or coordinating influencer video shoots to enhance brand engagement and drive sales.
  • AI Design Integration: Use AI tools to generate visually appealing designs to enhance quality & efficiency
  • Efficient Content Production: Utilize multiple design tools and software to produce high-quality visuals and videos efficiently, with the capability to generate mass content quickly
  • Websites Management: Manage and update websites through WordPress, with a functional skill level of at least 70%
  • Manage All Creative Assets: Organize and store all design files, images, and competitor assets in a shared cloud drive for easy team access and collaboration.
  • Print Design Knowledge: Prepare print-ready design files with appropriate bleed lines and color codes, ensuring they meet printing standards. Oversee production quality and coordinate logistics to deliver materials, such as brochures and business cards, to clients.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years in a senior creative or design leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Design & Aesthetic Skills: Exceptional sense of design, portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of creative projects is required
  • Passion & Ownership: Demonstrates genuine passion, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of ownership over their work, striving for excellence in every creative project.
  • Work Ethic & Flexibility: Must be hardworking, able to meet tight deadlines, and willing to work overtime when necessary to ensure project success.
  • Video Creation & Editing Proficiency: Ability to produce and edit videos independently, with at least intermediate-level skills in video editing software
  • Advanced AI Skills: Proficiency in using AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E, or similar) to create high-quality designs and improve efficiency
  • Multitasking with Design Tools: Strong command of various design software such as Adobe
  • Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, Canva, and other tools to quickly produce multiple assets in a short timeframe
  • WordPress Proficiency: Familiar with WordPress functions, able to manage and update website content confidently with a skill level of at least 70%
  • Print Production Knowledge: Practical understanding of print design and production processes, including file preparation for items such as brochures, name cards, and other physical materials
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and Chinese (at least 70% proficiency in each) to support bilingual copywriting and communicate frequently with colleagues in other countries.
  • Agency Experience: Previous experience working in a digital marketing agency is a plus, bringing valuable insight into fast-paced, client-driven environments.
  • Tech-Savvy: Must be proficient with a variety of design and productivity tools beyond just Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technology as needed for efficient project execution.
